The actress will be seen as Empress Mumtaaz in an untitled film on the Taj Mahal, where Kingsley is poised to play her husband, the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan.
Kingsley’s wife, Brazilian actress Daniela Lavender will be playing the role of the Persian princess Kandahari Begum in the film, who was Shah Jahan’s first wife.
