Bengaluru: A passenger has been fined Rs 200 for spitting paan masala inside a metro station.
The passenger, whose identity remains unknown, was caught spitting paan near the lift on platform number 1 of the Doddakallasandra metro station on the Green Line at 6.30 pm on Friday.
Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) has warned of strict action against anyone who violates cleanliness on the metro premises.
