The final round of trial runs on Namma Metro's North-South corridor between Sampige Road and Yelachanahalli stations will be completed on Tuesday.

Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited managing director Pradeep Singh Kharola said all the 17 tests and trials that are prerequisites for inviting the Commissioner of Railway Safety (CRS) have been completed. “We will invite the CRS after the final tests tomorrow,” he added.

Sources in the CRS office said no date has been fixed for the safety inspection. “The BMRCL has sent the report on the completion of the work and trials. We are going through the report. As of now, no decision has been taken on the date of inspection,” the source added.
