Bengaluru: With Namma Metro set to launch a composite steel girder over the railway line at Doddanekundi for the construction of Phase 2A, the following traffic restrictions will be in place on Monday and Tuesday:

Vehicle movement on the inbound side of the Outer Ring Road towards K R Puram has been restricted, and a two-way traffic system will be implemented on the other side of the road from 9 pm to 6 am. 

Traffic has been restricted on the left side of the road for 200 metres from metro pillar numbers 434-435 on the ORR stretch from Marathahalli towards Tin Factory. 

Alternative routes

Commuters traveling from Marathahalli towards Tin Factory and Hebbal should take a left turn near the Marathahalli flyover and proceed via Old Airport Road. 

At Suranjan Das Road Junction, take a right turn to reach NGEF Junction. From there, take a right turn to continue towards Tin Factory and Hebbal. 

Commuters travelling from Tin Factory towards Marathahalli should take a left turn near the KR Puram railway station and proceed via ITPL Road. At Hoodi Junction, they should take a right turn and continue via Kundalahalli to reach Marathahalli.
