Bengaluru: A 14-year-old boy was found dead at his house in south Bengaluru on Monday, police said, suspecting it was a case of death by suicide.

The deceased Gaandhar stayed with his parents and an elder brother in Banagirinagar.

His father Ganesh Prasad, a music artist, and his elder brother, a degree student , discovered the body at 5.30 am in Gaandhar's room.

"His mother, who is a singer, is on a foreign trip currently for an event," a police officer told DH.

According to police sources, the deceased left behind a suicide note where he asked forgiveness from his parents, thanked his school friends and wrote 'miss you amma'.

Police said there was no foul play as of now and the CK Achu Kattu station officials registered an Unnatural Death Report (UDR).
