The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has arrested a city-based model for possessing a narcotic substance on Tuesday.
According to the NCB official, the accused Laila (name changed), a native of Chikkamagaluru had come down to the city a few years ago and was working as a model. She was arrested from the city and 119 grams of cocaine, 19 grams of hashish and other narcotic substances were seized from her residence.
In November 2015, the NCB raided her house where she was living with her boyfriend Abdul and seized narcotic substances. He was arrested and during investigations, Laila was summoned for questioning. She had revealed that she helped Abdul procure and sell the substance, based on which her house was raided and the narcotic substance was seized. She was also arrested. Both of them were selling narcotic substances to partygoers and college students, said the official.
