With several festivals from various faiths falling within March and April, the event aimed to underscore the importance of inclusivity and mutual respect.

The celebration featured symbolic observances of Ugadi, Eid, Mahaveer Jayanti, Ramanavami, Baisakhi, Nowruz and Easter.

In his Eid message, Mohammed Arif Vakil, educator and creator of Sufi Comics, said the best way to celebrate a festival is to understand its underlying purpose.

"The single most important purpose common to all religions is sacredness,” he said.

Dr Peter Machado, Metropolitan Archbishop of Bangalore, was present.
