“Science has grown far and beyond in the last three years and nanotechnology, in particular, has brought in revolutionary changes in the field of science,” said Professor C N R Rao, a chemist and currently the Head of the Scientific Advisory Council to the Prime Minister.
Speaking at the curtain raiser of the 10th edition of the Bengaluru India Nano, he said that among the crucial developments over the years, nanotechnology has been a boost.
With the theme ‘Nano for a Better World’, the event, organised by the Department of IT, BT and Science and Technology, Government of Karnataka, intends to showcase the advancements in Nanotechnology and will be a platform to a multi-disciplinary approach to Nanotechnology.
To be held from December 5-7 at The Lalit Ashok, over 700 delegates from organisations across the world and over 60 speakers are expected to participate at the sessions that will include pre-conference tutorials and presentations.
