Bengaluru: United Way Bengaluru, with support from State Street, has assisted the differently abled community by distributing mobility aids and assistive technologies, including four e-autos, 10 NeoMotion wheelchairs, 40 SHG Glasses, three Kibo devices, and 200 Alexa units.

In a statement, United Way Bengaluru said the e-auto programme is dedicated to creating sustainable livelihood opportunities for vulnerable communities.

"By providing technology-enabled assistive devices that enhance mobility, communication and learning, the initiative aims to equip individuals with the tools they need to thrive. These devices support mobility and learning while empowering users to engage with their environments more fully and independently,” the statement said.
