Chintamani, Chikkaballapur district: The second additional district and sessions court has dismissed the anticipatory bail application of Rajiv Gowda, the Congress leader accused of abusing the woman municipal commissioner of Shidlaghatta.

The arguments in the case had concluded on January 22. Senior counsel Vivek Reddy had appeared for Gowda.
