Bengaluru: Bengaluru Police Commissioner B Dayananda on Tuesday said no cases of harassment by microfinancing firms were reported in Bengaluru.

“Two rounds of meetings have been held at the government level and certain guidelines are being issued,” Dayananda said during the weekly press briefing. 

“All officers have been alerted and sensitised to respond quickly and take appropriate action if any such incidents come to their notice since they have been reported in other parts of the state.” 

The top cop directed the public to inform the jurisdictional police stations if they were harassed or call the 112 emergency helpline.
