Bengaluru: The BBMP on Friday issued a clarification that it has not promised houses for pourakarmikas. The BBMP issued a note after it came to their notice that some people were spreading false rumours and collecting money from the pourakarmikas.
“Many pourakarmikas are coming to the BBMP office, saying they want to apply for the housing scheme. We have not come up with any such proposal. Some people are misleading them with an intention to extort money,” the BBMP press note said.
