In her new Tamil movie, Sigam Puli, for which she has begun work, Ramya plays the role of a middle class girl who works at a call centre and isn’t too much of an extrovert.
But her boyfriend, played by Jeeva, is her polar opposite. He is outspoken and doesn’t think twice before blurting out something.
“I play the more diplomatic person who thinks before commenting but my boyfriend acts on impulse. All characters in the movie have an important role to play,” says Ramya.
The story begins to gather pace when Ramya pitches in to save her boyfriend after he lands himself in a deep mess. She says she sees no difference working in Kannada or Tamil industry, “it’s just the difference in language and I am comfortable with both,” she avers.
Ramya hasn’t signed any new movies yet.
Has she become more cautious about signing new ventures because of payment glitches that arose in Naanu Nanna Kanasu...
“Oh no. Nothing can stop me. I am just an outspoken person and a lot of people just don’t like that. But I don’t care. That’s how I am. I am a straight forward person,” she signs off.
