Speaking to press persons here on Friday, the Minister In-Charge, R Ashok said that the BBMP elections will be held within the time frame set by the High Court and will not be delayed.
The move is seen as the ruling government’s bid to secure people’s support at the grassroot level.
The Palike elections were on hold since November 2006 and was earlier this year asked by the High Court to be conducted by August 2009.
