Thousands of people visited Lalbagh for the flower show on Sunday. The exhibition will conclude on Monday.

Bengaluru: Nearly 67,000 people visited the 218th edition of the Independence Day flower show at Lalbagh on Sunday, according to the Horticulture Department.

The show has been themed on freedom fighters Rani Chennamma and Sangolli Rayanna. 

A total of 67,310 people visited the event on Sunday, including 52,150 adults, 7,960 children and 7,200 schoolchildren, bringing in Rs 37,39,910 in revenue, said M Jagadeesh, Joint Director (Parks and Gardens). 

The flower show will be on till Monday. The timings are 7 am to 7 pm. Ticket prices are Rs 80 on weekdays and Rs 100 on weekends for adults, Rs 30 for students above 12, and free entry for uniformed school students on working days.
