The BBMP will launch a two-week 'Clean Bengaluru' campaign as a part of its Swachh Sarvekshan Survey from February 24.
The drive will be launched in association with solid waste management contractors, BBMP civil contractors, NGOs, and residents' welfare associations from various parts of the city.
The participants will be given tasks like removing debris and garbage, beautify the junction, flyovers, underpass, and clean parks, playground, stormwater drains, lakes surroundings, a BBMP senior official told DH.
The citizen groups can take up the cleaning activity anywhere in the city with their own machinery, materials, he said.
"The Palike will provide tractors, barricades, and workmen to the citizen groups and the NGOs taking part in the campaign," the officer said.
