The Karnataka State Commission for Protection of Child Rights has agreed to convene a meeting with the Baldwin school management and parents on Monday to discuss the reported excess fee collection by the institution.

Earlier, the commission had issued summons to the school over not disclosing the list of textbooks despite repeated requests by the parents.

Some parents had also complained and held a protest against the ‘exorbitant’ fees the management collected. The management has issued a statement that reads: “All details would be displayed on the premises, showing full details so that the parents can buy wherever they want.”

The management has further assured that they would talk to XSeed and SAAR to make books available everywhere.

“Our management would also talk to publishers to make one book instead of four books per subject if the parents
decide to do so,” it further added.
