Dr Arun Samprathi from Samprathi Eye Hospital and Squint Centre said that as Ramesh had witnessed the eclipse for more than three minutes, his retina had been partially burnt. “Ramesh will not be able to see far objects clearly,” he said.
Narayana Nethralaya too received one patient with a only eye burn sensation, but nothing serious was reported.
