After Naanu Nanna Kanasu Prakash Raj and B Suresh of ‘Duet Movies’ along with Shylaja Nag of Media House is all set for their next venture Puttakkana Highway. Directed by B Suresh, the movie stars Shruthi and Prakash Raj in the lead.
The movie is based on a short story written by writer-director Nagathihalli Chandrashekhar. But B Suresh says that though he has based the script on the short story, he has done a lot of research so as to narrate the film in a realistic manner. “I have brought out many shades on the development vs displacement debate, which may enlighten the audience. Thankfully, I had the support of many good artistes and technicians who have contributed their best for the film,” he adds.
Shruthi, who plays the title role, says that she is very happy to be a part of the film. “This is a movie made by people with a strong passion for cinema and I am glad to have been a part of it,” she adds.
