Lacking any frills and airs, this branch of the bigger ‘Wow Vada Pav’ franchise is a musty snack shop that is nestled in a basement. With food as its sole focus, the snack shop’s concept is to dish out quality Indian roadside food.
One look at the menu and they will be overwhelmed with the categories and sub-categories of items — from the simple ‘vada pav’ to the most innovative one.
Fresh and hot from the grill, once can try the grilled ‘vada pav’ with extra cheese with a generous dollop of butter on it. The ‘vada pav’ with ‘paneer’ as its main ingredient is an extra special delight too. On the side, there are a range of oily dishes to order such as finger chips, fries and cheese sticks. If too many ‘vada pavs’ get boring, piping hot momos are also as tasty and filling. A large lime soda is the perfect end to the snack.
Although ‘Wow Vada Pav’ can think of getting in decent seating arrangement and better ventilation, the experience of standing and eating in a musty garage is great as there is no compromise on the taste. The simple, typical, quintessential roadside ‘Vada Pav’ is the best ‘in-between’ meal on any day.
