The injured driver, Suresh, 33, a resident of Chikkagollarahatti, operated a school bus in Byadarahalli.

The police said six suspects working at a water bottle company were playing Holi on Ragimilla Road on March 14, causing a public nuisance by throwing colours on passersby.

Suresh alleged that despite honking, the suspects refused to move, and one of them threw a stone at the bus. When he confronted them, they allegedly assaulted and abused him.

The Byadarahalli police have registered a case and issued notices to the six suspects. Further investigation is underway, officials said.
