Police seeks more information on cyanide killer

"It is likely that there are many other women who have become victims of Mohan Kumar. It is requested that parents and guardians of young women who have gone missing in the Dakshina Kannada, Udupi Kodagu (in Karnataka) and Kasargod (in Kerala) during the years 2004-09 contact the Superintendent of Police, CID, Bangalore",Director General of Police,  Crime Investigation Department D V Guruprasad said in a statement.

Kumar had lured young women promising them that he would marry them.After establishing physical contact, he used to give them cyanide saying it was a contraceptive and ensuring their death.

Kumar, arrested last year, told police that he had killed 20 women.A chargesheeet has already been filed against him.
