During an inspection of the BWSSB water treatment unit at Hebbal on Tuesday, Suresh Kumar said the officials of the Board had prepared a policy on the reutilisation of waste water. He said the BWSSB would set up 14 water treatment units in the City but would not allow the industries to pollute treated water. He said the Board had decided to scrap the licences issued to some industries to discharge their waste water into treated water.
