Bengaluru: The RT Nagar police have issued a notice to the leader of a pro-Kannada organisation over possible protests against the release of Kamal Haasan's Thug Life in Karnataka.

The notice was posted outside the house of Praveen Shetty on Wednesday. Shetty is the state president of the outfit.

In the notice, the police stated that in case there were any protests, they should be limited to Freedom Park. The police cited a High Court order, which only allowed protests at Freedom Park. The police further warned of strict action if the orders were violated.

Given the previous protests regarding the release of the film, the police have made elaborate security arrangements across the city to ensure nothing untoward happens.
