The Bangalore Development Authority (BDA) has begun issuing notices to farmers in several villages as it moves to revive the two-decade-old project.

PRR-2 aims to enhance connectivity by linking Hosur Road, Mysuru Road, and Tumakuru Road along the city’s periphery.

Although the BDA had issued a preliminary notification in December 2005, the project remained stalled for years.

Documents indicate that notices have now been served to villagers in Bylakonenahalli, KJ Lakkenahalli, Gangondahalli, Lakshmipura, Dombarahalli, and other areas, signalling renewed efforts to move the project forward.
