Bengaluru: The Transport Department will conduct a public auction of fancy registration numbers in the KA 03/NW series at noon on January 30.
The auction will be conducted at the office of the Commissioner for Transport and Road Safety, 1st Floor, BMTC Building, KH Road, Bengaluru-5600027.
The numbers that will be up for grabs include 1, 123, 1234, 10, 11, 111, 1111, 100, 1000, 1001, 22, 27, 222, 234, 2222, 2727, 33, 36, 63, 333, 3333, 3636, 45, 444, 4444, 4455, 4545, 5, 55, 555, 5454, 5555, 6, 63, 666, 6666, 6055, 6363, 7, 72, 77, 777, 786, 7272, 7777, 8, 88, 888, 8888, 9, 90, 99, 900, 909, 999, 9000, 9009, 9090 and 9999.
The numbers will be registered by the office of RTO, Bengaluru East, Kasturinagar.
Owners of light motor non-transport vehicles meant for personal use only can participate in the public auction. They need to submit the application form, along with a demand draft for Rs 75,000 drawn in favour of Secretary, State Transport Authority, Bengaluru.
Successful applicants will be required to pay the auction amount in full within two days of the auction, the Transport Department said.
