According to the police, the accident occurred on Bone Mill bus stop on Hesaraghatta Road when Chandrappa came on the road pushing the cart. The speeding motorist, Arun from Doddaballapur, lost balance over his vehicle and collided with the victim. An injured Chandrappa was taken to a nearby hospital where he died hours later, added the police.

An unidentified person robbed an elderly woman posing as a police officer in Madivala police limits on Tuesday morning.
