That’s why the Marathi mulgi opted to perform lavani for a scene which required her to play a prank on Shantanu (played by Karan Tacker) to get his attention.
Performing to the famous Helen song Mungda Mungda…, the scene had Shantanu getting perplexed and wanting to know what happened to Khanak and her ignoring him and continuing to dance as though she was insane. What followed was a series of rib-tickling moments between the two during the entire sequence.
About dancing to her favourite Marathi number, Khanak said, “I love dancing. It is my shortcut to happiness. I have learnt various forms of dance. Being a Maharashtrian, lavani is something I know and enjoy immensely.” Tune-in to Rang Badalti Odhani every Monday to
