The finals of the fifth edition of the Prajavani Quiz competition will be held on Thursday at the Jnanajyoti Auditorium on the Bengaluru Central University campus. Nine teams that qualified from various zones will vie for the top prize.
The zonal-level competitions were held at Mysuru, Hassan, Mangaluru, Dharwad, Vijayapura, Kalaburagi, Raichur, Davangere and Tumakuru. ‘Deeksha’ has been the part of the programme as presenting sponsor while Canara Bank is the banking partner.
The zonal-level competitions of Bengaluru division will also be held on the same day in the morning session, and students from Bengaluru Urban, Bengaluru Rural and Ramanagara districts can take part in it. Registered students will be chosen for the rapid questions round through a test of 20 questions. The Tumakuru zonal competitions scheduled for January 22 were cancelled following the death of Siddaganga seer Shivakumara Swami. That event will also be held at the Jnanajyothi Auditorium on Thursday.
