Without revealing too much on the role, she says, “I play a young and homely character who is very naughty and is always upto innocent pranks.” Radhika, who is cast opposite Kiran, is all praise for the entire crew. “This is my fourth film but I was still jittery and nervous. But my director and Malashree ma’am told me to relax and not to get worked up. They are all sweet and co-operative that I feel at ease when I shoot with them,” she says. “Initially I thought of Malashree ma’am as a very strict person but when I actually spoke to her, I realised that she was fun loving and carefree.”

And with Malashree in a movie, there is bound to be action sequences. Radhika was part of one of the sequences on the first day itself. “I cried on the first day because there was this chase scene where Malashree ma’am, Kiran and I are in a car. Suddenly, the bad guys come and break the windowpanes of the car. The sound of the glass breaking was unbearable and it really scared me,” she explains. The second schedule for the film will resume in February and is said to be shot in Hyderabad.
