New Delhi: After taking over the Rameshwaram Cafe blast case in Bengaluru, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Wednesday announced a cash reward of Rs ten lakh for providing information about a youth suspected to have placed the Improvised Explosive Device (IED).

The agency released a picture of the suspected bomber wearing a cap, mask and glasses while entering the cafe and urged the public to provide information about him. It assured that the identity of the informants will be kept confidential.

At least 10 people were injured in the blast at Rameshwaram Cafe in Brookfield in East Bengaluru on March 1.

The explosion is suspected to have been carried out through an IED. Karnataka Police, which initially investigated the case, is learnt to have recovered a timer used for triggering the blast.
