Sudden rains lash several parts of Bengaluru

Bengaluru: Rain lashed several parts of the city on Tuesday evening, with core areas, southern and northern parts being badly affected.

Several roads were inundated in parts of north Bengaluru such as Hennur, while Rajajinagar to the west, Richmond Town in the city centre, Marathahalli in the east, and Sarjapur, Electronics City, and BTM Layout in the south saw moderate to heavy rainfall.

Other parts of the city such as RR Nagar and Kengeri witnessed some lightning and thunder.

Severe waterlogging was reported at Maharani College underpass, Basaveshwara Circle.
