Sound Awake’, the electronic dance music (EDM) festival, a platform for performances by top international artistes being presented by DNA Entertainment Networks Private Limited, will be held on August 4, from 11 am to 11 pm, at Supernova Arena and Convention Centre, Yelahanka, Airport Road.

The objective of the festival is to redefine EDM. The festival, held in collaboration with ‘Ministry of Sound’ and ‘HedKandi’, will bring together popular names like Ferry Costen, Gareth Emery, Hardwell, Paul Oakenfold, Paul Van Dyk, Sander Van Doorn and other famous
disc jockeys.

Darude, the Finnish DJ popular for hits like ‘Sandstorm’, ‘Feel the Beat’ and ‘I Ran So Far Away’ and Yves Larock, writer and producer, will be also be performing. Music lovers can also watch out for Max Reich and Simon Marlin of ‘The Shapeshifters’. With stand-out hits including the timeless ‘Lola’s Theme’, ‘Back To Basics’ and ‘Incredible’ and remixes for the likes of George Michael, Christina Aguilera, Moby and Natalie Imbruglia, among many others, the duo are stalwarts of British dance culture.

The ‘Ministry of Sound’ will feature its own set of DJs. Unfortunately, ‘Taboo’, also scheduled to perform, will not feature in this line up due to visa delays.
