Bengaluru: Samarthanam Trust for the Disabled, in partnership with OpenText, will host the 18th Annual Bengaluru Walkathon on Saturday at Kittur Rani Chennamma Stadium, Jayanagar 3rd Block. The event will commence at 9 am.

The announcement was made during a press meet on Wednesday by Manoj Nagpal, Managing Director of OpenText India, and Dr Mahantesh G Kivadasannavar, Founder-Trustee of Samarthanam Trust and Chairman of the Cricket Association for the Blind in India (CABI). The duo also unveiled the official T-shirt for the walkathon.

The walkathon, held annually to mark World Disability Day on December 3, is themed ‘Health for All’ this year. It aims to promote inclusivity and equal opportunities for people of all abilities, raise awareness about disabilities, encourage healthier lifestyles, and advocate for equitable access to healthcare.
