Residents of the Central Excise Layout in Sanjay Nagar cleaned and beautified two garbage black spots on Saturday.
The spots at ward number 18 and 19 were cleaned along with pourakarmikas and BBMP officials.
The residents are also planning to organise a drive to educate people on the importance of garbage segregation and disposal to the garbage collectors. “The awareness campaign will be done with help of CIFoS and Rotary Club and Central Excise residents association,” said Jahnavi Thekkada, a resident.
