The case was filed against Gurappa Naidu, the chairman of BGS Bloomfield School, and his wife, P Sunitha, the trustee.

According to the FIR filed on July 29, the two created a fake building completion certificate and submitted it to the education department to run the school. The FIR was filed by Sudha, 56 years, a law practitioner.

The case was registered under sections of the BNS related to cheating. Further probe is underway.

In April this year, a similar case was registered against the two, where the same complainant had claimed that the duo had submitted a fake fire safety certificate to the Karnataka High Court and also used the same document to obtain CBSE affiliation.

Earlier in November 2024, a teacher from the school had filed a sexual harassment case against Naidu.
