Political commentary is common in Sathyu’s films. ‘Chitegu Chinte’ is set in an imaginary island and follows a superstar-turned-actor — played by C R Simha. The film offers insight into the relationship between politicians, gangsters and film stars. The film was written by Javed Siddiqui.

The film will be screened under BIC’s initiative, B Cinematic that aims to celebrate impactful cinema from across the country.

On January 5, 11am at Bangalore International Centre, Domlur. Entry free, RSVP mandatory.
