The delegation also urged the minister to upgrade film and television courses at SJ Polytechnic College, noting it was the first in the country to start them.

Sudhakar responded positively, assuring a decision on shifting the institute from Hesaraghatta would be made after discussions with Chief Minister Siddaramaiah.

"I will soon visit the institute along with officials and verify what can be done. Regarding shifting, I will discuss it with the Chief Minister," Sudhakar said. "I am aware of the demand for courses like Cinematography and Sound Engineering. We will take necessary initiatives to introduce advanced technical courses."
