Faisal (23) of Kodagu, Sridhar alias Srinivas (23) of Ramnagar, Narayanswamy (24) of Kadugodi, Paramesh (33) of Chikmagalur and Anand (19) of Gandhinagar, are the convicted. They were arrested near Gandhinagar Park by Upparpet police on July 1, 2007.
Lethal weapons were recovered from them. The court has also slapped a fine of Rs 6,000 on each of the convicted.
