Bengaluru: Minister of State for Railways V Somanna inspected the Padarayanapura and Hosahalli Railway Overbridge (ROB) works on Saturday. The ROB is being constructed at a cost of Rs 12 crore as the codal life of the previous one was expired.
Unlike the previous one, the current ROB construction will be done on a 1x42 metre bow string girder style, according to a press release. The new ROB will provide connectivity between Vijayanagar and Mysuru Road.
After inspecting the ongoing works, the minister instructed officials to complete the work on time.
He also inspected the Krishadevaraya Halt Station and Nayandahalli Stations, while addressing the grievances and suggestions of citizens. Bengaluru South MLA Tejasvi Surya was also present.
