IPS officer Sonia Narang has been appointed as Superintendent of Police, National Investigation Agency (NIA) for a period of four years.
According to an official notification, Narang has been relieved from the state government with immediate effect to take up the assignment at the Centre.
The Centre had sought the deputation of Narang to NIA in April last year.
