The inauguration of first-year BCom classes of PES (Day & Evening) College was held recently at Prof MRD auditorium, PES University campus. The toppers were also felicitated as part of the programme.
Dr KN Ninge Gowda, Registrar (Evaluation), Bangalore University, was the chief guest of the event. He felicitated R Kavitha, who secured sixth rank in the Bangalore University examination during 2013-2014 with a gold medal. Following this, the toppers of Bangalore University examination (Day & Evening) for the year 2014-2015 were honoured.
Dr MR Doreswamy, Chancellor, PES University, also addressed the students. MV Sathyanarayan, Director; AV Chandrashekar, Principal, PES Day College, and BS Sudarshan, Principal, PES Evening College and the staff of PES Day and Evening College were present.
