Thousands of students have been stuck in long serpentine queues since 5 am on Saturday to obtain a bus pass at the Kempegowda Bus Station in Bengaluru.
Reports state that authorities have opened just eight counters to issue passes for the more than 5,000 students who have queued up since the morning.
To make matters worse, no official was present at the spot to issue any clarification.
