Bengaluru: The wife of a policeman allegedly died by suicide at her home in east Bengaluru, officials said on Tuesday.
The deceased, Shalini, who is said to be in her 30s, was married to a police sub-inspector attached to the KG Halli station.
Police sources said that they were informed of the death on Tuesday morning and suspect that Shalini died the previous night. She was found hanging at her house in HBR Layout.
"Her parents have filed a written complaint,” a senior officer told DH. “Based on that, a decision will be taken whether to lodge an FIR.”
