The High Court of Karnataka directed the Dove Drive Without Borders Foundation to submit specifications under the law for constructing speed breakers.

A division bench comprising Acting Chief Justice H G Ramesh and Justice P S Dinesh Kumar was hearing a petition regarding accidents and deaths caused due to potholes and speed breakers in the city.

The bench also stated that the plea was in the true sense for the welfare of the public.
According to the petitioner, along with the potholes, lack of signage indicating the presence of road dividers and humps is a major cause of accidents in the city.
