Bollywood actor Sunny Leone cancels her New Year performance in the city.

Sunny took to Twitter to announce that she will not be a part of the New Year bash as the police department has publicly stated that they won’t be able to ensure her security at the venue.

Earlier, activists of Karnataka Rakshana Vedike Yuva Sena held protests at the programme venue in the city as well as in various parts of the state saying that the programme is ‘against Kannada culture and heritage.’ 

The programme, called ‘Sunny Night,’ was also scheduled to feature many Kannada bands and artistes.
