The HAL police have arrested three persons on the charges of burglary and theft and have recovered valuables worth Rs 8.50 lakh.
The arrested have been identified as Saddam Hussein, 21, Zameer, 19, and Irfan, 21, all unemployed and residents of Islampura.
All the three are habitual offenders involved in several theft cases and were released from jail on bail recently. Hussein, who was about get married, required money and used to break into locked houses for stealing valuables, along with Zameer and Irfan.
Recently, the trio was questioned in connection with a theft case and they confessed to having committed crimes, added the police.
