KSRTC New Bus Stand in Dharawad

Bengaluru: Three people died after a KSRTC bus collided with a parked truck on the outskirts of the city on Friday.

The accident occurred on National Highway 48 near Gundenahalli at around 3.30 am. The deceased are Seenappa (50), Nazeer Ahmed (36), and Anand (42).

According to the police, they were on the truck which was going towards Bengaluru from Mudhol. The truck contained livestock. Due to a flat tyre, the truck was forced to stop on the highway.

At the same time, the KSRTC bus coming on the way collided with the truck. A few people on the bus sustained minor injuries, police said. Further probe is underway.
