In the first case, a domestic help stole valuables worth Rs 10 lakh from her employer’s house while they were abroad.

In the second case, a man working at a jewellery store stole three kilograms of silver worth Rs 3 lakh. He confessed to the crime during interrogation.

Both incidents occurred within the HSR Layout police station jurisdiction, and all suspects have been arrested.

In the third case, a house help stole valuables worth Rs 12 lakh from her employer's house in Basavanagar, within the HAL police station limits.

She allegedly stole the house keys and waited for the right moment to enter the house. She got her chance to steal when all the members of her employer’s family were on a temple visit in central Bengaluru.

On Tuesday, Bengaluru Police Commissioner B Dayananda announced the arrest of all three suspects and advised that people employing domestic help should conduct a thorough background check before hiring them. He also suggested that citizens use bank lockers to store valuables instead of keeping them at home.
