Programme started with an invocation song which was followed by the welcome speech by Principal R V Badi. The college magazine Aarambh 2010 was released by S V Srinivasan, DGM, Circulation, Deccan Herald, who emphasised on career and personality development.
He morally boosted the alumni and the outgoing students. He also stressed the importance of mastering the art of communication.
V Nagaraj, vice-chairman of the college, addressed the gathering and advised the alumni students to interact and share their work experiences with the MCA and MBA students.
Some of the ex-students spoke on the IT and management career. They asked the present students to wholeheartedly participate in the academic as well as extra-curricular activities, as it will give them an added advantage in their future careers.
The vote of thanks was delivered by Antony Joseph, Director, Department of MCA. The function ended with competitions for alumni students and cultural show by junior students.
